A boy of Havana | 2015
12"x 9", Watercolor + Ink on Bristol
Model: Unknown boy
Location: La Havana, Cuba
Studio: Quinones Studio
Curator Note: This is his home in old Havana after I talked with him a mother and her daughter walked by us. The mother joked, "Souvenir! Souvenir!" Raising her 4-year-old daughter's hand, but she was not paying any attention to us. Her eyes were locked on the young boy in the doorway. They held each other's eyes until the mother and daughter turned the corner.
